  • Updates through Hyper V - Server 2008 & Server 2003

    Hello All,
I run a Server with server 2008 loaded and a VM under Hyper-V that is running server 2003.  The server 2008 machine is the DC on the network.
There were some automatic updates installed about a week ago that are causing all images printed while on the server 2003 VM to print as black boxes.  It appears only one type of printer is affected in our office, the HP Laser Jet 1300.  This happens to be the printer most employee's use.

I have un-installed the updates, and it fixed the issue.  However, even with automatic updates disabled on the server 2003 server they keep re installed themselves!  Is it possible the Server 2008 server being the DC is pushing out the updates?

    Please help!
