How to configure Project Center To show Project Health and to Group Projects into portfolios and programs RRS feed

  • I have see screenshots of Project Center that show

    • Health indicators
    • Projects grouped by owner
    • Projects grouped into programs and portfolios
    • Projects grouped by departments

    Where can I find information about this?

    Hopefully this will help:

     

    • Health indicators 

    First, you need to decide WHAT your health indicators are, and if you want them be manual selections by the project managers or automatically calculated by the system. Depending on that, you create custom fields appropriately in the system. If you chose automatic calculations, then you need to write formulae for the custom fields. The following might help:

    Then once this field (or fields) is created, you need to add them to the "view" that you will use in Project Center.

    • Projects grouped by owner: This is a view configuration. You just need to use the field "Owner" in the view to group

    • Projects grouped into programs and portfolios
      • You will need to create custom fields to carry the Program or Portfolio Name. Then you use the custom field to set up the view (

    • Projects grouped by departments
      • Same as above. This is a view configuration. You just need to use the field "Project Departments" in the view to group
