Windows Explorer Sidebar Color RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I noticed after going through pictures about windows 7 that the windows explorer sidebar color appears a very blueish color. For example: http://www.blogsdna.com/1972/how-to-enable-aero-glass-effect-in-windows-7.htm Right now I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. However my windows explorer sidebar color appears a pale whitish blue. Like so: http://tinypic.com/r/2gwdn9s/5 I don't like the current color. Can you tell me how to change the color of the sidebar?

    Thanks in advance!

    Kevin

  • That screenshot comes from a pre-release version of Windows 7. In the final version of Windows 7 the System Properties sidebar color is sky blue. I don't think it could be changed, I assume it's part of the branding.
