  • On that specific client, make sure you do a FULL hardware inventory request, for your next test. and then follow that inventory through the process as Garth Jones mentioned.

  • From your log:

    0 report entries created

    Cycle completed in 1742.734 seconds

    That's 29 minutes +
What specific item or items in your inventory is taking minutes+ to run?  That seems really long to me.  But I suppose I try to keep my hinv cleaner that most people...

Perhaps you need to examine what inventory items you have enabled, and determine if perhaps, just perhaps, you don't need things like "shortcuts" (or something, I'm just making up a possibility)

    Hello,

Checking for the content to know why it is taking so long....

    - Client Settings

    - Inventory file

the two queries which take long are:

Collection: Namespace = \\.\root\cimv2\sms; Query = SELECT __CLASS, __PATH, __RELPATH, FolderName, HealthStatus, OfflineAccessEnabled, Redirected, SID FROM SMS_FolderRedirectionHealth; Timeout = 600 secs. InventoryAgent 9/16/2019 8:45:34 AM 5392 (0x1510)
    10 minutes...

Collection: Namespace = \\.\root\cimv2; Query = SELECT __CLASS, __PATH, __RELPATH, AccountExpires, AuthorizationFlags, BadPasswordCount, Caption, CodePage, Comment, CountryCode, Description, Flags, FullName, HomeDirectory, HomeDirectoryDrive, LastLogoff, LastLogon, LogonHours, LogonServer, MaximumStorage, Name, NumberOfLogons, Parameters, PasswordAge, PasswordExpires, PrimaryGroupId, Privileges, Profile, ScriptPath, SettingID, UnitsPerWeek, UserComment, UserId, UserType, Workstations FROM Win32_NetworkLoginProfile; Timeout = 600 secs. InventoryAgent 9/15/2019 2:07:49 PM 5572 (0x15C4)
    16 minutes

Is there a way to identify which setting(s) is(are) using them? Who created the setting(s)? Who Modified the setting(s)? when it is in the Default Client Settings....

I saw the Classes "Folder Redirection Health" & "Network Login Profile" in the Default Client Settings > Hardware Inventory > Hardware Inventory Classes.

    I unchecked the class "NetworkLoginProfile"
