  • Hello, has the DNS been configured for the external and internal access? How are you setting up the external access? Ae you going via a reverse proxy such as TMG / ISA? The latest technology from Microsoft is UAG. All of these work well. Or are you just opening up your firewalls?? Paul

  • Depending on what AAM you setup (i.e. not the server name) you will need to set up the internal DNS for the new AAM name and also update the binding in IIS. If you want to access PWA externally you will need to set up external DNS (with a DNS supplier) to point that name to your network.

  • Dear Paul,

I didn't do any DNS configuration for external and internal access.

I just configured Alternate Access Maping only.

How to configure DNS for external access?

    Could you explain please.

    Thanks and regards
