Failed to Start the database server MSSQL$OfficeServers

I have windows 2003 and SQL 2005 and attempting to install Project Server 2007. I have installed WSS 3.0 in stand alone mode, and then install Project server 2007. Every thing goes smooth unitl I can to run the Configuration Wizard, i get an error "Failed to Start the database server MSSQL$OfficeServers. Repair this product by selecting it from the Add/Remove Programs menu"

Is this issue related with System Center Essentials(SCE)? This forum is for SCE related issues.
