iis role and application server role for sharepoint 2010 beta

Question
-
Admittedly, I'm a sharepoint newbie. Can anyone tell me how to configure IIS and the Application Server roles prior to installing Sharepoint 2010? I guess I basically just need to know which role services to install when running the all roles wizard.
What I've already done:
Installed Windows Server 2008 Standard 64 bit os on a machine that exceeds the hardware requirements for a sharepoint server.
Ran all microsoft updates on the server, including service pack 2 for the OS.
Looks like the next step is to set up those two roles! and then install all of the other patches, framework, etc...just curious about the role configuration for now I guess.
Thanks,

Eric,
The PrerequisiteInstaller (PrerequsiteInstaller.exe on the installation media) is the best method of configuring the required roles, role services, and installation of features. When you run the PrequisiteInstaller it will configure these roles and dependancies for you.
Hope this helps.

In the event you'd like to manually configure the Application and Web server roles I posted the requirements here http://blogs.technet.com/wbaer/archive/2009/12/06/configuring-the-web-and-application-server-roles-for-microsoft-sharepoint-server-and-foundation-2010.aspx.
