Error Downloaded but not installed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, We are using WSUS for years.

We have +500 Win10 1803 computers, but a lot of them 25% aprox doesn't update correctly, basically stops their cumulative update.

Then we created a new wsus server with only 11 client computers.

1st step was approve 201911-SSU and installation finished OK for all of them. Some we "clean WSUS ID" following AJTech instructions

2nd step was approve 202002 - Cumulative , and 9 of 11 are on  "Downloaded but not installed" status. On client computers appear or error installing 0x8024001e or translating something like "installation was not made because pc was turned off" or start again downloading but maintain 0%.

    Any clue?

    Thx

Have you checked whether the Windows Update service of the client where 0x8024001e appears? You can check by running "Services.msc" on the client.

If the update still fails to install after confirming that the service has started, consider step-by-step troubleshooting according to the "Fix Windows Update errors" wizard.

Reply back with the details would be happy to help.
