Not Junk mail doesn t work RRS feed

  • Question

  • look the answer from MS  is very strange

for MS is new designe to put  white list domain from user as not junck email

As discussed in our call today, you wish to submit a Design Change Request to the FOPE development team, rather than investigate the issue further. We have currently been investigating why clicking on the ‘Not Junk’ link in a user’s FOPE Spam Quarantine does not appear to work. We do not have any current examples of this behaviour, but I suspect that the cause of the issue is expected behaviour. The message sample is probably reaching our anti-spam team, but they may not agree that the message is legitimate (not junk/spam) and may choose to keep the spam definition in place. Due to this outcome, the user may feel that clicking on the ‘Not Junk’ link has no effect.

This is expected behaviour in FOPE and does not meet your needs, as you mentioned. You require the ‘Not Junk’ link to completely whitelist the mail for that specific user. This type of individual whitelisting is not something that is supported in the FOPE Spam Quarantine, so a new Design Change Request would be necessary. As per your wishes, we will change the focus of this support case to create this. Please note the following about Design Change Requests:

  • Hi,

the "Not Junk"-Button delivers the email to your inbox and send a sample to Microsoft for further investigation. It's not a personal whitelist button as you can see here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff715135.aspx:

"While viewing an individual message, you can have it delivered to your Inbox by clicking the Move to Inbox button, which is shown in the following image. This will send the message to your corporate email Inbox. Furthermore, if the message is not spam, click the Not Junk button while you are viewing the message. This will both send the message to your corporate email Inbox and also notify the FOPE spam team that the message was incorrectly categorized as spam."

After submitting the sample the FOPE team can adjust their filters if they agree that this message isn't spam.

    Greetings

    Christian
