Can't save any login script policy files RRS feed

  • Question

  • All of a sudden we can't save any GPO that uses a script. Even if I create a brand new GPO file and I open the Computer Policy \ Policies \ Windows Settings \ Scripts and then save it gives me an error.  I've Googled this a bit and I have full rights to the NetLogon share.  I'm a domain admin in fact.     What else causes this?

Exclude SYSVOL from Scanning in your Anti-Virus.

...and if you use your DC as a file server, make sure you did not
    configure file screenings :)

  • Hi,

I suggest check the permission on the GPO and make sure it does not have an explicit deny ACL on administrator.

Could you access the GPO that you are editing under the path \\domain\sysvol\domain\policies?

    Best Regards,

    Jay
