i doubt that you can find a roadmap in regards to the management packs. I think that Microsoft is also interested in releasing this as soon as possible.
What you can do is periodically check the following site, which is being updated by the community in a regular basis:

You can subscribe in order to get the RSS feeds or mails. This way you'll get to know as soon as there is an update.
