Problems installing Microsoft Office 07 on Windows 7 RRS feed

    I know, this isn't the first time this question has been asked. I right clicked and the button "Run as Administrator" is not there. That was the first thing I looked for. I tried holding down control + shift and it still did not work. The same message keeps coming up. "Can't run. You must be an administrator to install Office 2007". The account I am currently on is the only account I have on the computer, it was the account that I made when I first set up this laptop after I bought it. I have a Sony VAIO E Series.

    Have you tried creating a new Administrator account on your laptop (with password), then rebooting and then signing on with the new account and then trying the installation?

    Control Panel=>User Accounts->Manage Accounts->Create a new account (be sure to make the new account Administrator)

    Please try that and tell us the results.
