Computer freezing on right click RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everybody,

I'm struggling with a small problem there every time i right click something on the computer it's getting a small freeze, trying to right click any folder will cause a windows explorer freeze.

I thought this might be an issue with the Hard disk itself because it had few bad sectors, so i upgraded to a SSD. But it didn't solve my problem.

I will post info about my components below, i appreciate any kind of help.

It is an office PC with:

CPU: Intel i5-2400 CPU @3.1 GHz

    RAM: 8.0GB

System: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

    SSD: 250 GB Crucial MX500

    Thanks again for any help

  • Hello Michal,

It's hard to tell the exact reason without examining the hardware and software completely. Altthough, there are several first assumptions that I would eliminate before re-installing the OS or visiting the tech support company. First of all, try checking your computer for malware and viruses. Sometimes phishing emails can create this kind of small bugs that you are experiencing. Take a look at this article, might be useful.

    Best of luck!
