I have a Lync integrated with Nortel gateway, when I make calls its sends my ID as "myname@mycompany.com", what I want is to replace my name with my extension like "ext@mycompany.com". How can I achieve that?
Calls made to other Lync users will send the caller-id as your SIP-URI. Calls to the PSTN will contains a a <tel:> section in the p-asserted-identity header that has your Tel URI. You can't manipulate it, and it's the responsibility of the endpoint
to provide caller-id information.
