Call is place on hold automatically in the middle of the conversation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

One of my clients has strange problem. Multiple users report the same issue.

During conversation, call goes on hold. They are not sure why, but they have to click on Resume button on the phone (Polycom) and continue conversation.

    Any ideas?
    Thank you.

  • Hi lgor,

Did you mean the strange issue just appear on the specific Polycom phone ?

If so, please try the following methods:

    1. Please test with another Polycom phone test if the user has the same issue.
    2. Try to reset your Polycom phone.
    3. Make sure your Polycom phone has the latest firmware.

Hope this reply is helpful to you.

    Regards,

    Alice Wang

  • Hello Igor,

If the polycom is removed out of equation and only the soft client (lync/SKB) is used, are you able to reproduce the issue ?

If possible reproduce the issue and share the phone logs (.clg)

    Thanks.

    Gautam.

  • Multiple users have the same issue. It is not related to phones.

There are very few people use Lync client. Most of the people use phones, but it was reported that people with headset that use Clients have the same issue.

    Thank you.

    Igor.

  • Sorry, but as I said, there are not that many SfB client users, but the same issue happens to them too. I believe this is a SfB issue. Igor.

  • Sorry, I was out for a while.

I did not hear anything about pear to pear calls. I have complains about external callers.

    Igor.
