Old CM client and client upgrade packages RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I've been updating my CM installation correctly with most CU's that are released. However, it seems that some CU updates leave old client and client upgrade packages to system. Is it safe to manually remove them? They all point to same source directory:

  • You can remove them if they are no longer being used, but the deletion wizard will tell you if they are in use.

  • There are no programs or deployments to them. So they might be used either in Task Sequences or if automatic client upgrade is enabled? Anything else wher they might be used?

  • Just try to delete it. The wizard will tell you if the object is still being used.

  • Try to delete it, it will prompt  a message  if the package is added part of TS
