  • Hi River-2020,

Thanks for posting on this forum.

Operation timeouts may be due to inadequate optimization of the IIS configuration. It is recommended to refer to the link to optimize first:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4490414/windows-server-update-services-best-practices

After you have done the above, it is recommended to resync again.

If you have any updates about this issue, please keep us in touch.

    Regards,
    Rita

  • hi,优化了部分IIS参数,仍然失败,会和内存大小有关系吗?

  • Hi River-2020,

    Thanks for your response.

Since the error you mentioned is an operation timeout, I recommend optimizing the IIS. In any case, optimizing processing is necessary to use WSUS.

Next, for the current issue, consider checking SoftwareDistribution.log and Event Viewer. If there is any error message in it, please post the error code or event ID on this forum.
    SoftwareDistribution.log location:
    C:\Program Files\Update Services\LogFiles

    Regards,
    Rita
