Hi David,
In Outlook 2016, please click File > Office Account, under User Information, check if you are using the work email account for sign in.
Open Word 2016, click File > Office Account, click Sign Out. Then restart Word 2016, click Sign In with your work account. Restart Outlook 2016, check if you can decrypt the email properly.
