    Administrator account has disappeared. How can it be recovered?

    Hi ,

    Is this account disabled or deleted?
    Open Computer Management, locate to Local User and Groups>Users as shown blew, check if your Administrator account has been disable. If so, try enable it again. If it is not listed in Users, it could be deleted, try create a new administrator account.

    Hi ,

    One more thing, if it is the built-in administrator account that disappeared, kindly notice that we cannot create build-in admin account besides do the in-place upgrade repair. Since you post in Windows 7 forum, I am assuming you are running a Windows 7 machine. Try boot from a Windows 7 ISO, choose "upgrade" install.
