Trying to Get Forefront to talk to Client Machines RRS feed

  • Question

  • Here is the error log in MOM, DAS account given correct permissions , but still appears to be an authentication/permissions error

    When the MOM server processed a Client Security script, the script failed to access a non-MOM API.

    - API name: objMomServerUtils.GetScriptResponseParameterValue()

    - Error code: -2147024891

    - Error description: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))

    - Rule name: Run Flood Detection

    - Script name: Microsoft Forefront Client Security - Event flood detection

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the post.

    Please add the MOMDAS account and MOMAction account to MOM administrators group on the collection server (MOM server) and reboot the computer.

    If flood detection script has run, you need to manually reset this under the forefront management node in MOM console.

    Hope this helps.

    Miles
