Right time to opt for 70-541 Certification?

Hi,

Will it be the right time to take 70-541-WSS 3.0 Application Development examination now? It will be retired on June 30th 2011 as stated on microsoft site. Will it provide any credit after that?

If you have already spent a lot of time preparing for it, you might as well take it.

Otherwise I'd suggest that you try to get certified for something with a longer life span (i.e. the current SharePoint product range).

Both also have links to extensive book lists and to (free) on-line chapters
