sip domain different from internal AD domain RRS feed

  • Question

  • My current sip domain is mydomain.com, and this is the default routing sip domain, and this is the same as my external email address domain. my internal AD domain is corp.mydomain.com, in order for OCS 2007 R2 to find and expand groups, do i need to add my internal AD domain as a sip domain? and should the internal domain (corp.mydomain.com) be the default routing domain?

    Many thanks

  • Only Distribution Groups (and note Security Groups lacking an SMTP address) can be expanded.  If these missing groups are mail-enabled then are you using the internal domain instead of the standard SMTP doain for their proxy addresses?
