Temp Folder -Skype For Business File Share RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

There was some issue with Backup Service, Overall Export was showing as Error State and some how we fixed it but File share size got increased during that issue.Temp Folder under LyncShare>2-BackupService1>BackupStore has around 35 GB of data.

I want to confirm we need to perform some task to clear it out and we can delete it directly from there ?

Maybe you have to remove your backup pool an recreate the pool pairing?

  • Hi Holger,

When we are running Get-CsbackserviceStatus against both pool,  there is no error and all are showing as normal. Is there any other way , we should verify the status ?

Can we simple remove files under Temp folder to clean up the space ?

  • Hi James Jac,

Welcome to post in our forum.

Based on my understanding, you could delete this temp folder in the Lync share.

Regarding your issue, the best practice, we suggest you rename the share folder, after this republish the topology and test if there is any issue.

I have moved all temp folder data to other place and will observe if we face any issue.Do you think we should follow the steps you recommended although status showing normal now ?
