BSOD on wake: ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY (dmp included) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey guys, I built this pc 2 months ago and just recently have been having issues when waking it up after a long sleep. Goes to blue sad face screen with the error: ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY. The dmp files archive are at https://skydrive.live.com/#cid=D6868830E679AC1B&id=D6868830E679AC1B%21113

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Is your GSkill RAM F3-12800CL9-4GBXL compatible to the board? Also update the BIOS/UEFI to F15q (You use F12). If this also doesn't fix it, run memtest86+ to see if the RAM is damaged.

  • Thanks Andre! I just checked and the RAM is compatible with my board. Ill update the bios when i get home from work and see if that helps. Does it matter that 15q is still in beta?
