Microsoft has effectively stolen my document

I know this has been discussed for years, but I protected MY document. First time I ever needed to do that. And if Microsoft was going to forever keep me from getting it back because of a password issue, they should have had flying monkeys and bells and whistles as a warning. HOurs and hours and hours of work are gone. Once I think of an appropriate curse, I'll be casting it.

Hi,

Thanks for posting in our forum.

By "a password issue", do you mean the password you used to protect the particular document was forgotten? If this is the case, sorry but I am afraid Microsoft doesn't provide any solution to retrieve or circumvent passwords that are lost or forgotten. So it might be a good idea to keep a copy of your password in a safe place or create a strong password that you’ll remember.
