Dcdiag DNS Test Failure RRS feed

  • Question

  • When i run the dcdiag /test:dns /v /e

    it comes with these errors:

    Test: Authentication (auth)

    Error: Authentication failed with specified credentials

    Error details 64 (Type:32 - Description - The specified network name is no longer available) - Add connection failed

    Test: basic (basc)

    Error: No LDAP connectivity

    No WMI connectivity

    Please help

     There is a ms article for specially point to this error "Error details 64 (Type:32 - Description - The specified network name is no longer available) - Add connection failed",

    Mentioned to symantec AV&AV's related that.And check for port blocking condition.(may have blocked ports..)

    Please ensure the account was used to run command is administrator.
