Use the authenticator app instead of a password RRS feed

  • Question

  • I found this video where they explain how to use the authenticator app to sign in instead of using a password. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeNWhLOY6uo

I installed the app and followed the steps, but when I'm singing in I cant find the button to sign in with the app. I only see a input field for the password and a button for forget my password. Do we need to activate this somewhere in our tenant?

    Thanks.

  • Hi Joost,

The passwordless sign-in method that's showcased in the video currently only works with personal Microsoft accounts. What type of account did you add to the authenticator app (personal, work or school)?

    Thanks,

    Olena
