SCOM 2012 R2 Linux Performance data RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

For only few Linux servers I am not able to see the performance data like CPU memory.

    1. Agent is installed successfully and agent state is health

    2. Servers are in same resource pool/Groups other servers are getting monitored

    3. Run as account distributed to the servers.

    4. Can run the tasks top 10 CPU Processes/Memory information, which gives the output.

    5. Reinstalled agent.

    6. No errors in event logs in the SCOM management servers.

    7. In diagram view , all object shows healthy.

    8. Health explorer , all monitors related to performance are showing as healthy.

Not really sure what is the problem, but not able to see the performance data.

  • Hello,

Is there any alert for those Linux servers? Whether the action account have permission to get performance data?

Here is a similar thread, I suggest you go through it:

  • That didn't help Yan,

Action account has full access on those servers. Everything else is working, getting alerts for those servers. Only issue with performance data

  • Hello,

Whether the performance report is blank when you run for those server?

As you said, not all Linux server have this issue, you may check is there any override for those server that may disable performance collection.
