Create Custom Comment Notification Management Pack RRS feed

  • Recently we have moved to O365, we have 2 domains, one integrated with AD and another without AD but has emails configured with O365. After moving to O365 had lot of issues with Notification.

    No SMTP server configured, email Notification channel configured to O365. 

    With AD (helpdesk@us.xyz.com)

    Only email (helpdesk@xyz.com)

    all emails sent to helpdesk@us.xyz.com is been forwarded to helpdesk@xyz.com, now this is configured in SCSM email connector to generate tickets.

    We are using only Email to generate tickets. Domain with AD no issues able to receive ticket info but the other domain email we are not able to receive ticket info. Only Assigned to and Closed email info is sent to Other Domain ( As these notifications are Management Pack configured - SMTP).

    [MP used  - Custom notification workflow on incident assignement or re-assignment ]

    I have edited the MP and configured as per the requirement. Now able to receive email notifications to both domains. 

    Here i was not able to create a MP for Comments ( Analyst and User). The end user is not able to receive the comments email.

    Need some help on creating the MP for comments with SMTP
