Exchange2007 SP1 to SP3 problem RRS feed

Answers

  • Hi Gopi,

    Please give it a shot:

Open Regedit and add the following registry Key
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NTDS\Parameters
Value name: Allow System Only Change
    Data type: REG_DWORD
    Radix: Binary
    Value data: 1

This will allow us to change the Object Class Attribute - This setting will change back to 0 after a reboot.

    Hope it helps.

What does that mean? The property wasn't the same name?

So do what the KB says to do, but to the property that's got that
"DUP-" prefix -- if that's your problem. You don't actually say what
    the error is.

Sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say.

You found the ms-Exch-Resource-Schema attribute in the schema, right?
And when you examined it's "mayContain" property what do you see?

  • Hi Gopi,

    Please give it a shot:

Open Regedit and add the following registry Key
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NTDS\Parameters
Value name: Allow System Only Change
    Data type: REG_DWORD
    Radix: Binary
    Value data: 1

This will allow us to change the Object Class Attribute - This setting will change back to 0 after a reboot.

    Hope it helps.
