Bit information of IE RRS feed

  • How many version of cipher strength are available (examples 128, 256) and how many bit represents each version of cipher strength. because  I want to know bit information of Internet Explorer which is installed on Windows platform.

  • Only one I'm aware of/ 256,

    The only difference would be 64 bit or 32 bit,

    Which if you can see clipper strength if your using a 64 bit machine it will also be listed on this page because a 64 bit machine will have two versions of ie9 or ie8,

    A 32 bit machine will only have one version of ie9 or ie8 but the same 256 clipper strength.

  • Thanks for replying... my question is remain same...How can I identify/ know bit (32 and 64 bit) of IE... Or any method to check the same by command or browsing something else........

    [IE9 on Win7-32bit]
    within IE, click the gear/cog, or, press Alt-X (to open the Tools menu), then click "About Internet Explorer"

  • your answer is not satisfied my question, I want to know bit information (either 32 or 64 bit ) not Cipher strength. where is mention bit information (i.e 32 or 64 bit). if u ask from anybody, will say go to Help and About Internet Explorer, but dear where is bit information mentioned in your Snap shot.......If possible help me to find this information..
