Wifi Drops RRS feed

  • When i first installed Windows 8.1, the WiFi was dropping very often. I can not play games i can't serf the web. I can't do anything why is this happening! Windows 8.1 is hopeless right know please fix it.

    We need to know this information in order to help you to find solution

    1. When this issue start happen? Is there any changes (HW or SW)?

    2. Share your HW spec and OS that you are using (32 or 64 bit)

    3. Is there any specific error message that appear when they cant connect to internet?

    4. Is there any device connected using the same router? they can connect to internet? 

    5. What troubleshooting step that you already done?

    Drop wifi maybe can fix by updating the wireless card

    According to your description, it may be caused by wireless adapter driver compatibility.

    As britishdhez said, we suggest you update the driver to the latest version.

    Please check if the latest driver support windows 8.1.

    Also, let us know your  wireless adapter model.

  • hi everyone. I think i have the same problem with guy above. My wifi driver is broadcom 802.11 ac. The internet very often drop. Some people say i must change something in the driver configuration. Can someone tell me how to config it ?
