    hi! I understand that in a Cisco VOIP env, the conference resources/DSP is a hardware in the Cisco voice gateway. However in a mixed Environment between Cisco and Lync, If the conference is configured in Lync control panel, where is the hardware/software that supply this resources? Is it provided within the Lync mediation server itself? How do I verify that? If it's utilizing the mediation server resources just like the DSP, is there any calculation that can determine how much RAM/CPU is required? Is there anyway we can determine how much resources are in used when there is a live conference session? Thanks.

    Mediation server is one of the required components.

    Conference is related with Front End Server or A/V conference Server (if you deployed).
