Need advise how we should implement policy "Disable all macros except digital signed macros" RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

Here's the scenario:  We want to implement group policy, "Disable all macros except digital signed macros".  We understand that no macro-enabled file will be opened unless it is digitally signed.

The problem is that we searched our entire network and found around 4000 files with macros in it from multiple locations on the file system.

I need advise what is the best way (with the most minimal impact) how we can implement "Disable all macros except digital signed macros" policy on our existing files on the network without asking all our users to digitally sign all the document themselves.

Is there a way to automate this or somehow implement this policy globally? Or other strategies  to move forward with this policy without interfering with the macro-enabled files we have that exists all over the file system?

Please advise any idea.  Thank you!
