Where is that queue used? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a large number of Hunt Groups, Queues, and Groups. I'm updating an existing Hunt Group and trying to find out how it was originally configured. I came across a Queue with some of the information I need, but I can't tell what IVR or Hunt Group it's used in.

Given the name of a Queue, is there any way to tell where it's being used?

    Thanks...

Answers

  • So, a co-worker found a solution using PowerShell. It's a little bit of work, but eventually gets the info.

To get the identity string for the queue:

    Get-CsRgsQueue -Identity service:ApplicationServer:<fully qualified servername> -Name "<queue name>"

To create a searchable text file with all the Hunt Groups and their parameters listed:

    Get-CsRgsWorkflow -Identity service:ApplicationServer:<fully qualified servername> |out-file test.txt

Once the text file is created, just search for the identity string from the first command. The identity string looks something like:

    b6c656ad-1ed5-42fc-9784-fb3c6d1cee3e

It's a bit cumbersome, but gets the job done. I'd appreciate hearing of any cleaner ways of getting the info.

    Thanks...
