GPO not getting applied to client machine.

    Question

  • Newly created GPO is not applied to client machines.

  • Hi,
    It seems that you are suffering event 5014, you could go to event viewer to confirm it.
    If that is the case, in my experience of this event, the common solutions for RPC errors include:
    1. Make sure all DFSR servers are patched with the latest DFSR releases.
    2. Update Network Card drivers to latest versions. 
    3. Disable Task Offloading on all members of the Replication Group
    4. Check for Wan accelerators and exclude DFSR traffic
    5. Check firewall rules. Make sure DFSR traffic is not being blocked
    6. Check max MTU size on your network and adjust accordingly so that servers have a common max MTU size. 
    You could try it one by one to see if it helps.

  • go to the client machine and check if they are able to connect to sysvol folder of the AD server.

    Try something like:

    \\IP_address_AD_server\sysvol

    If not able to connect then that could be the issue.

    The error seem still event 5014 after you rebooting PDC and ADC, please have a try the replies as above to see if it works and check if more information is showed up for troubleshooting.
