The content can't be displayed because the S/MIME control isn't available RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do we get the S/MIME to show up in Internet Explorer 11?  We use OWA for the government and need it to be able to access our CAC (Common Access Card) certificates.

Someone "found a fix" by adding the webmail / OWA server to the "Compatibility View" settings.  Log off OWA, log back in again, and it looks like it used to.

Problem is, it isn't working for me! Please help!

  • Hi,

Does this issue only occur in IE11? Have you tried other browsers?

So what I recommend you is to try in other browser and check if this issue still occurs.

Moreover, what's the meaning that the S/MIME control isn't available? Do you mean you can't view S/MIME option in OWA from IE11 or S/MIME doesn't work after installing the S/MIME control?
