  • Hello,

    Exchange 2016 CU16 shows the error below:

     

    The description for Event ID 16024 from source MSExchangeSubmission cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

    If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

    Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Transport Submission is running. What can cause this error?

  • Hi,

    What did you do before this error occurs? Do you have any issues about mail flow? And what’s the configuration of your Exchange, do you have DAG deployed?

    You can first refer to the following points to troubleshoot:

    a. check the MSExchangeSubmission is located in the Registry Editor, you should find it in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog

    b. find the registry value which named EventMessageFile, and check the path to the .dll file and the name of the .dll file are correct. 

    If you did some changes according to the above content, restart Event viewer and check if it is helpful.
