Dell MP version conflict RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I have a situation here where I can not cover all my Dell hardware models into one Management Pack. Ex, there are some models that are compatible with MP v6.3 while some are compatible with v5.2. I need to keep both these versions imported in SCOM.

    My question is, if I import v5.3 now, will it replace my v6.3? And also, for the models that are covered in both the MPs, will I be getting 2 alerts for the same thing? If not, which MP will it come from?

    I have tried this in my lab, when I have 5.2 version MP imported, I could not have 6.3 version imported.

    As far as I know, if you have V5.2 imported, then when you may not be able to import V6.3.
