FCS Definitions failing download via WSUS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Since 6/2, my WSUS server has failed all downloads of the FCS Definitions, but has downloaded other content without issue.

I sure would appreciate it if someone could give me an idea of where to start.

  • Thank you. I had seen the second link before, but as WSUS was downloading some updates, but not all, I had only skimmed the article because I did not see the relevance. However, on the 2nd pass, I did disable the SonicWall GAV, and the updates downloaded fine. I have since re-enabled the GAV, but left an exclusion for the WSUS server and will monitor to ensure that there are no further issues.

    Thanks again.

  • I am having the exact same issue since June 2nd, also. I am behind a Sonicwall also. I disabled the GAV as suggested above and it worked for the time being. I am looking to see if I can find an answer and will update if I do. Thank you all for finding a temp fix.

  • I simply made an exclusion in GAV for my SCCM/WSUS server and my problems have been completely resolved.
