Internet Content Filter RRS feed

  • I'm managing a small network, which has a windows 2008 server doing RRAS & DHCP. I'm looking for a content filter that is easy to configure that I can install on that machine only, which would intercept objectionable content that is accessed over the web, and replace that with a page saying the content has been filtered. From what I've found, I can't do this with the server roles, so it would be software that runs on top. Can anyone make suggestions as to what is effective? I'd like to filter by keywords such as alcohol, drugs, adult content, social media, and so on, but also make exceptions to allow or deny certain sites.
