WMDC and Outlook 2010 - Is there a way to vary the sync period beyond the pre-sets? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have Outlook 2010 (32bit) amd Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) and I sync with my HTC HD2. This works very well and I am happy with it.

I would like, though, to "sync the past" 3 months or six months e-mail, rather that 1 month or all past messages.

Is this possible by way of changing a setting somewhere?

  • Hi,

Thank for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum.

When I navigate to Mobile Device Settings > Change content sync settings> Email, I find:

    Sync the past

Messages received within the following timeframe will be synchronized:

    o   1 day

    o   3 days

    o   1 week

    o   2 weeks

    o   1 month

    o   All messages

So, this is by design, we can’t change the timeframe setting optionally.

Meanwhile, I suggest you could post to Office forum for further help:

    Hope it helps.
