  • Hi,

    One of the vendor send email to us in the morning but we got the email in the afternoon. What could possible caused that?

    Any method I can check or find out the exact time my exchange 2010(on win2k8 r2) receive this email?

    Please advise, thank you.

  • I believe that the issue is at their side if your inbound mail flow works fine.

         In the message tracking log and SMTP receiving connector log, you can trace when will the sender deliver to your email server. I have encountered some similar issues before due to antispam software blocked user message, it can be identified in the message tracking log.

    I am using Delivery Report in OWA. When open the delivery report of one sender(from other company) , i get this error message:

    The status for the recipient can't be determined because of a temporary error. Please try again later .

    Any idea?

    Does this issue (deliver of message delayed seriously) only occur on the emails which are send from that company or all the other companies?

     

    If this issue only occurs on the emails send from that company, the issue is at their side.

     

    If this issue also occurs on the emails from other company, you can use message tracking to help you troubleshoot the problem. Here are some related documents for you:
