  • Question

  • Does Microsoft make phone calls to notify users that their firewall has been breached and that they should not use on line banking or shop online until you have contacted Microsoft to fix this problem?  The phone number that you are to call is [redacted]

  • Hi ckebinCDM,

Microsoft does not send unsolicited email messages or make unsolicited phone calls to request personal or financial information or fix your computer. Treat all unsolicited phone calls or pop-ups with skepticism. Do not provide any personal information.

It's a scam. If a computer is constantly being redirected to sites with the “Warning: Internet Security Breached!!” alert, asking you to call a support number to fix it, then it is possible that you have adware program installed on your computer.

Hope it will be helpful to you
