Additional Server Settings in Project Server 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • In Project Server 2013 documentation, the Operational Policies do not list Additional Server Settings.

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg186015.aspx

This TechNet article list Additional Server Settings being managed as a function of SharePoint Central Administration.

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg982980.aspx

In my current environment, I see Additional Server Settings being accessed both from PWA and SharePoint Central Admin.  Do both places reflect the same information and if I change it in one place, will it update in the other?  Should I be seeing Additional Server Settings as an option under Operational Policies from PWA?

  • Hi Chris,

Indeed you still can see the additional server settings in PWA server settings in PS2013. I think this is an error in the TechNet article. That being said, the settings are stored in the Project db, so if you change a setting in one place, you should see it in the other place. But anyway you should test it on a non critical setting.

    Hope this helps,
