Can't logon FTP on Windows 2008 R2 RRS feed

    I installed FTP server on a windows 2008 R2. I can ping the port 21. When I access it using localhost name and or IP address on the winodws 2008 r2 server, the logon screen popup, but I can't logon. I have tried the administrator account. For a test, I also added everyone to the FTP folder with full permissions. What could be the problem?

    Hello Bob,

    check the logs for the error .

    it would also be good to post it in windows forum

    Adding FTP Authorization Rules fixes the problem. thank you.
