Showing links between projects in a master project RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I am currently managing a programme plan in MS Project 2013 that has 6 subprojects inserted. I have a number of dependencies between these projects relating to specific tasks. I have been able to create the links using the "Link the selected tasks" button on the Task Tab, however when opening the "Links between projects" window on the Projects tab it does not show the linked tasks between projects. These are only displayed in the subproject file when opened separately.

I was hoping there would be a way of seeing all linked tasks "dependencies" between the projects in my programme plan, is this possible?

    Thank you

    Josh

  • Hi Joshua,

Have you checked both tabs of the dialog box - you can view external predecessors on one and external successors on the other. If you are operating a Master Project with sub-projects how are you handling that in terms of viewing things in the Project Centre in PWA?
