Monitoring Report Service Lync RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

Is there any way to extract the lync reporting information via Powershell or via Peformance counters?(out of the reporting server) I would love to get a total back of the P2P IM messages of that day.

It seems that the lync performance counters are different then the reporting server?

  • Hi Raymond Keegstra,

Based on your description, if you want to get the Total peer-to-peer IM sessions or Total peer-to-peer IM messages, you could use the Monitoring Report in the SFB Server, click Peer-to-Peer Activity Summary Report, then get the IM report. Details about this you could refer to the official document: Peer-to-Peer IM Report in Skype for Business Server

However, if you want to get the conversation message about the day in SFB Server, you must deploy Archiving Server in your environment. Then you could use the following command to export all the IM:
Export-CsArchivingData -Identity "ArchivingDatabase:atl-sql-001.litwareinc.com" -StartDate 6/1/2018 -EndDate 6/30/2018 -OutputFolder "C:\ArchivingExports". Detail about this you could refer to the official document: Export-CsArchivingData. You could also refer to the similar case.

    Best Regards,
    Evan Jiang
