Windows 7 Pro 64 bit freezes at least once a day RRS feed

  • Question

  • My computer is compatible - verified.  Inter Core i5 processor 4 gig ram, 500 gig WDC disk.  I maintain 35 exact same computers.  All have this problem.  Usually Office 2007 related (MS Access the worst offender).  Intermittant freezes.  Hard reboot is the only solution.  Takes up to three minutes to stop the freeze condition using Task Manager. Happens at least once a day on some machines.  Usually early in the AM when the machine has been left on.  It is a W7 problem.  Does anybody have a solution?  It is very time consuming to have to re-boot and wait three or four minutes not to mention loosing your work once or twice a day.  All updates are current

  • Since it is happening on all 35 computers, it almost sounds as though it
is a driver issue. What is the make/model of the systems (if a vendor
built them) or the components that you used to build the systems (if you
    assembled them yourself)?
