Outlook Calendar issues post 365 cloud migration RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

It seems we are having some quirky issues since full migration to Exchange online, Mostly to do with Calendar behaviour.

We have EA's and PA's that have multiple delegates and control a lot of meetings. They are having some strange behaviour with re-occurring meetings in particular.

Example PA 1 will have a meeting for Director 1 in Directors 1's calendar. It will be re-occurring and they need to change one instance to a different time. This meeting has x amount of attendees.

When the instance is moved, it seems that it is not updating attendees occurrence of these meetings. The same behaviour is happening if the instance is deleted. This would lead me to a delegate issue but they are able to create new meetings etc and it doesn't seem to happen with single meetings.

Does anyone know if there is something corrupt or missing since migration? As far as I am aware this is not just for older created meetings but I could be wrong.

  • Hi BSCJROB,

    >>When the instance is moved, it seems that it is not updating attendees occurrence of these meetings.

Can you reproduce this issue on OWA?

When you made changes to the meeting, please log on the web mail to see if meeting details were updated correctly.

As here we mainly focus on issues regarding Office client, I'm not familiar with Exchange migration. From the description, this issue occurs to all recurring meetings no matter it was old or new, right?

In case there was something wrong with the synchronization, we can try accessing shared calendar online to test the results.

To do this, please go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings. Double click your account and choose More Settings. Under Advanced tab, unselect “Download shared folders”. Restart Outlook to see if it works.

Hope it is helpful to you.

    Regards,

    Perry

  • Hi BSCJROB,

Have you tried disabling caching for shared folders? Does it work on your side?

Please feel free to post back if you need further assistance.

    Regards,

    Perry
